my friend with a 95 240sx SE raced , he has a injen cold air intake, and iam stock, and he won! not by much, i was VERY SLOWY pulling i was at the back of his front fender the whole time, but a win is a win, and iam so embrassed. :'(

hey those cars have a lot of torque and they do high 15's so................its nothing to be embarrassed about. Especially since he was slightly modded. I believe that you would have owned him with just better driving.

One of my friends also has a '95 240SX SE that's slightly modded. Sitting in it all the time, I wouldn't be surprised that he would beat me in an EP. That KA24DE is truck-derived and has nice torque so that thing pulls...

I used to have a '91 240SX Fastback with I/E and I would have to say that my SI has a better top end then my 240. The engines on those cars are based on the pick up truck block and dont like be raced. My car loved low end revving but wasnt so smooth about anything over 5k. Off the line, I could usually pull ahead on most cars but they would always catch up around 3rd gear. Our Si's also way about 300lbs lighter.

You mentioned that you were completely stock. I have an SRI and it definetly makes a difference. I would recommend some sort of intake fo sho!:p

i only have 4900 miles on my car, but iamn not a bad driver or anything, i was slowly pulling on him through out hte race iam sure , but man o man dont under estimate a 240sx i hella thought i would have taken him, i dont know how he got the lead on me i probaby fucked up... just didnt notice it , o well i'll get him
