tail lights are stock,it's just the pic lighting.still learning camera. i havn,t driffted in water yet,but that black ice is pretty scarry,even with studs.the front moves sideways every time i shift gears.scared to go over 45 mph when its icy.i like to come up on a corner too fast in the snow and pull ebrake to make corner,it's saved me a few times.think i'll find another beater for winter though,this road grime is just trashing my paint,constant tar removal.

Nice focus. I use to own one traded it in for the EP. I like that hood alot. Mine was loaded with focussport products they made some pretty good stuff.

geez people are still hating on this thing. i saw this car at a meet and it made a few runs and let me say that if any of us epers throw ,say, a 75 shot in our car, it would still pull on us. most of you guys are scared of the squeeze too, so their is pretty much nothing you guys can do. not swingin from your nutts or anything i just think it sucked that people talked shit on your car.

2ns run 13.8 @102 ( 2.1 60ft time) at LACR ( 7lbs of boost, street tires, 100degree weather + bad launch) no helmet so they didnt let us run again.

1st run 14.1 missshifted 4th gear... with a 2.0 60ft time. car is capable of 1.9 60ft. just need a helmet.

Hahaaa! EPHatch is full of mad hatters :) Anyway, I like your focus man. It's pretty much what i wanna do to my car. At 7 psi i'm assuming you're on stock internals? Stock internals with a turbo running 13 second runs....that's my realistic goal for the end of this year. Then again, I could swap the engine and run 13 second runs...hmm, oh well. Tite focus....inspirational hatch! Just get some better rims, please!

I wish there more crews like team stealth around houston. Just a bunch of fast cars w/ no stupid ass bullshit requirements like "Dude ur car must be n/a to be in this crew...." or "Twanky inch rims and graphixxxx" or "HONDUHS AND AZNS ONLY" Just the only requirement to be fast :)

p.s. theres too many hondas and asian kids around houston ;)

my last car ran 13.6 @ 105 (00' Maxima w/ Vortech S/C)
before that i had a hi 12 sec. 96' Civic EX...
the civic was also stock internals...
GReddy turbo kit maxed out at 15 psi (tiny TDO4 turbo)...
Lots of other goodies though...
made 289hp at the wheels and 235 tq...
yup from a stock internal d16y8 (1.6L SOHC VTEC)...
lasted 44k mi and never blew...
regret the day i swapped in a b16a2...
blew that up in 2500 mi...then sold the car.

by specs i was asking about the turbo setup...
what size turbo? components?
never saw a turbo zx3/focus/escort, just curious what they use.

no way is that from the intercooler...
that's the pipe that draws the air into the turbo....
pressurized air would blow that tin foil to shreds...

yeah 13.8(without n2o) is not bad considering that the car ran a 17.7 bone stock at the same track with way colder weather.


turbo is a aerrocharger turbo kit, basicly its a t25 turbo... pretty lil huh... 440cc 5th injector, FMU, fmic, ... thats pretty much it...

less then 4k invested......

some internal work on the way...

pretty similar to my setups except i had (4) 310 cc injectors and dropped the compression with a thicker head gasket.
my civic ran 17.1 bone stock and the consistently ran hi 12's at 13-15psi on 20x8x14 slicks and low 13's on street tires (11psi).

it's amazing what a turbo will do to these little engines.
can't wait to get one on my ep.
if i was working right now it'd be on my car already.

Very nice car, i like it alot. Im afraid its just play gay for people not to like a car just because its a domestic, and its not a Honda. Its called be a car enthusiast, and not only liking cars of one certain make. I have a 02 SI, and i like any car that is tasteful, and the owner has put time, money, and effort into it. My mom drives a 99 GT stang 5-speed (i love my mommy), and i love to take the car out for some power-slides, and tire burning fun. Im not afraid to say that i like that car, i dont care that its a big pushrod behemoth. Try to open up and take a car for what it is.
