Is this cover necessary? *pic*

I took it off to clean my engine the other day and I loved the way it looked without it. Will it harm anything if I drive without it? The AEM RSX-S doesn't have it on.. Just curious.. Any info appreciated. thanks. Also, what about the spark wire cover?

I'm pretty sure that cover is just dress-up.



The sparkplug cover I would leave on though... It give a little extra protection for the plug wires. It also helps clean up the engine bay.

Neccessary, I would say no, theres nothing mechanical it is doing. It just there for the ride. :cool:
