Rust in engine bay....

I opened up my hood the other day for a good lookaround and I noticed rust starting to form on the side! I doubt there's any actual structural problem to this but it really looks bad =(

Does anybody know what to do?

Yea some things under my hood have started to rust...Nothing you can do really.

I washed my car the other day and found a nice chip on the front edge of my hood. Orange with rust already. :( So I cleaned it up best I could and used touchup paint.
