I went through my credit union: 5.5% for six years at $277.00 per month with zero down.

I could have gotten less than the % rate that I got if 1) I did 3 or 4 years and if 2) I had plunked down some money. Honda offers a zero % loan once in awhile. So if you want to have a lower montly payment, you have to plunk down more money up front and extend the life of the loan.

general rule: for every 1,000 dollars that is borrowed, expect to pay $20/month. (if you go for 5 years on the loan). Ex> if you borrow 10 grand...month payments will be around 200.

I'm not even gonna put down my monthly payments. It's embarrassing. I HAD to have the car as soon as it came out...so I payed out my a$$ for it. 7.8% interest rate! d'oh! 4 months later I think they dropped it to 2.8% :'(

I traded my old car in and my 2001 V-star motorcycle to get my EP. I got 4000 for my old car and 6500 for my bike. Had to pay out my loan on my bike and in the end I have a payment of 347 a month. It was a hard thing to do but well worth it...thats all canadian... My EP was a demo and it costed 21000. I think I got riped but I really didnt care. I needed a new car and this one came up so I didnt car what the price was...
