Newbie Question: RSX Head and Headers

Ive heard that the only difference between the k20 thats on the ep and the rsx type s is the head. Is this true? Because i dont want to be spending money on stuff i dont really need. And also im probably going to buy my friends old rsx type s header, he said that its the ctr header. is that also true?

There are internal differences, crank, rods, pistons are not identical. Type-s head uses a different vtec setup as well. A search on this topic should reveal a ton of useful info.
