Well just a few weeks ago I got my 02 Civic SI in Silver and I have to say I am one very happy person. I am wondering what upgrades should I get for it to keep it under warrenty at first. From the dealer is came with tinted windows. spach guards, pin striping, body molding, fog lights, and roof visor (might take this option off do not know yet). Then I bought the floor mats and got a Viper 800 Alarm System in it. I am just trying to figure out what all I should get for it for the looks, security, and even just a better over all car.

When the warrenty is up that is when I am going to get into engine mods and other add ons like a kit to lower it. I just want to have a fun SI to drive and to look at but most of all to drive.

I am going to try and get some shots of the car this weekend so I have shots of what I started with.

Thanks

Personally I'd take off the pinstripe and body moldings, get a drop in K&N filter, different headlight bulbs city light bulbs etc..,

get some lowering springs like neuspeed race springs (even though it will void shock warranty) cuz it will greatly improve the looks of the car.IMO:)

here is a picture of a members silver ep with race springs on (courtesy of ep3guy)

When I bought my car the first thing the salesman asked me was what was I going to do to it. I was like what!?!?!?!? Do something to it! It's brand new! But then of course now with a car the mod the car fever catches you and never lets go.

I also asked the dealer if it would void my warranty if I did any mods to the intake, headers or exhaust. His answer was no, it wouldn't void my warranty unless a problem came up and the mod was the direct cause of the problem.

My plans to do the basic bolt ons, i/h/e and when my warranty goes I'll do the engine swap :D

Depends on what you're looking for - looks or performance. If your question is about performance - tires tires tires. Did I mention tires? If it's for looks - the list is too long, pick one.

Whoa!

I was going to go GC coils but now I might go Neuspeed! How does the springs feel as far as ride quality?

the ride quality is not as good as stock obviously, but not bad either. These springs are a spring for "looks" rather than performance because of the aggressive 2.25 inch drop they provide:)

Ditch the sunroof visor! The ep doesn't need it.

Ditch the pinstripe!

Get yerself a nice set of PIAA headlights, a decent intake, and start saving up for a wheel/tire upgrade.:)
