Well suede is the right material but the shift boot looks kinda cheesy. The e-brake looks good but I have the JDM CTR seats so it wouldn't match with anything. In the end it's your car and whatever you like but, that is the correct material for our car. Good luck & happy bidding. ;)

I would say it is not bad but I like the leather one better that I have seen on the board. It is your car and your taste and it should be what you like.

It looks quite nice to me. I like it, It's different. Leather is way too prevalent and boring. And our rubber thing, altough interesting in a retro sort of way, reminds me too much of my grandfather's old Dacia 1300. (Romanian car, which, incidentally, is the one I learned to drive stick on.)

i agree i like the ebrak but the boot looks like a nut sack. it would be cool to maybe get rid (swap for CF) of the chrome ring on the stock boot but with the position out of the dash the rubber boot seems to be the way to go for now by keeping the ralley look. does anyone know if it is easy to take off the big round ring from the boot to paint?

Man... no one likes leather or suede shift boots on our cars. How come? They look a bit odd, I guess.... but isn't the stock rubber one a bit too 70's for our otherwise modern cars?

I've been looking for a new shift boot and wanted to match my seats. I found Momo makes an alcantara shift boot with an adapter to screw into a Momo knob...pretty much fatctory looking.
They have red, gray, black, blue, and i think yellow.
Here's an example:

No matter what boot you get, in order for it to look correct with the placement of the shifter in the first place, is to shorten the boot. They definitely look like a freakin scrodum if you don't.

I found a guy at clubsi who does custom leather. He's going to make me a set. Plus, he'll do suede as well.

Who is it and do they have a website? I am looking to get some leather boots for my car too. So if he will cut a deal if more is ordered I am in or I will order from him if there is not deal if the price is right.

HgSi , Dacia 1300 ??? WOWWWW . I`m from Serbia , we had a bunch of those there , most of them were Renaults (dacia is just a romanian version of it) , but I never thought I`ll see it here . Man , that was one ugly car ( don`t mean no offense if you like them :) ) .I know it has nothing to do with the topic , just couldnt resist .Peace

Makes the E-brake look like a circumsized c#ck!

The shifter looks like fat bastard when he lost weight.
