dunno, maybe because there's no way they could make it fit. The regular AEM cai is a already a tight fit

shoot i am suprised they got a CAI to fit! i got the short intake from aem and that dam thing is in a funky twist and has JUST enough room. I was lookin at the engine and trying to figure out, where the hell a CAI would go. I wanted the CAI but where i live, we have alot of rain and standing water.....and its not worth loosing my engine. Maybe they will develop a bypass valve that will fit - then my short intake is history.
