actually it was first introduced in the '91 NSX just an fyi, thats one of the reasons I didn't hesitate on it, when I worked at the Acura dealership we rarely saw any problems with the EPS system. When I'm sitting still I find there is relatively no assist from the EPS but when I start moving it seems to kick in...I'm figuring it's just a quirk of the EPS is all, hope that helps a bit. :)

correct on both counts.

the EPS offerers zero assist when you are at dead center or are maintaining your steering position. so there is a moment of no assist sometimes when you are being very quick with the wheel.
