I recently noticed that when Im near 1/4 of gas left and I step on the gas (pedal to the metal) my car sputters!? Its if like its not getting enough gas. Does anyones car do this in between 1/4 tank of gas and E?
When I have more than 1/2tank it does not do it.

What do u guys think it is?
Could this be because of the fuel pump location, that it doesnt get gas(gas goes back when its at full throttle)? OR do I have an injector problem or fuel pump problem?
Let me know what u guys think it may be, I need to fix this problem before I boost.

My car has done the same thing but I always figured it was just bad gas?

mine just hesitates when i shift but then it picks up. I always use mobil gas, and can not explain the phenomena

My car was doing the same thing, but I just figured it was because my car was fucked up.

so what happened ? did u fix it? what was wrong with it?
I see that u stated "was" so Im assuming u fixed it.

nope nothing like that happens here.....mine shoots off like a rocket till the gas runs out:D :eek:

My car hesitates all the time. Is something wrong with it or am I using the wrong grade fuel? I've tried all types of fuel grades and different places but it still hesitates between 3 & 4.5 RPM. Let us know if you find anything.

I really do believe its bad gas cause everytime it did it was when i got gas somewhere different than usual. now I use nothing but exxon 93 octane and hasn't done it in a while.

but to do it only when its a lil less than 1/4 of tank everytime?
Thats kinda weird to me, I also go to the same station that I use to get gas when I bought it.
It seems like my only choice is to take it back to the dealer and explain the usual questions, y is it lowered? y is it loud? etc....:mad:

Mine does something like that only in 2nd gear and when I apply the gas slowly...its wierd. When I floor it in 2nd it goes just fine...go figure. :confused:

Sorry to hear that.

Mine does this for the first minute or so while she's cold when I do the 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts at anything quicker than a really old snail's pace (and that's slow).
