My hands are aching and cut, but it's worth it. :)

btw, if you can't see the pics, it's my host's fault. They screwed up my domain name and for some reason it doesn't work for everyone yet.

Standard 6.5"

Yup just 6.5" components, not oversized or anything. Like I said in another topic, it shocks me that crutchfield and those guys say a 6.5" is easyfit, because there's no way unless you cut the panel a bit.

Nice choice!! How do they sound? Also, what are you powering them with? CDT threw 150+ at them in their ram, so I wonder if they like the extra power?

They're being powered by an Arc Audio 4150 CXL-R, which puts out 75 watts per channel. I may try bridging it and seeing how they sound, but that's 320 watts, so i'd have to be careful. :D

yeah, don't blow those beauties! I'm sure you'll be careful. But damn, that Arc is SEXY!!! Those CDT's will get plenty of clean power from that amp. Arc also just updated their site and it's rated 80x4, but it's also underrated. With all this front stage, what are you running on the low end?

Well, once they're off backorder status, my low end will be handled by a pair of Image Dynamics ID8v3's. I can't afford to sacrifice the trunk of my Si, so the box will be only 3' wide (which is exactly the space between the shock towers). 10" tall and 6" deep. The box is being custom made by a cabinet maker with 14 years of experience, so I'm looking forward to seeing the final product. Even tho they are only rated for 150w each, i'll be feeding the ID's a bridged 300w between them. Should sound real nice.
