Damn that Spoon throttle body is 70mm...thats a 8mm upgrade over ours, but i guess at $500 and change you sure would be payin for it.

Tell you what, give me an engraver and a sharpie, I can write spoon on anything you want and it'll have the same horsepower increase. :D

Can I mail you my throttle body Jaydub? I want "Spoon" written on my thrott;e body....I heard this gives me 30 HP easy! hahaha

The throttle body upgrade will not give the gains you would be expecting. You would be flowing in greater amounts of air into the same size (stock) manifold and intake valve/exhaust ports.
Also to use the extra air, new bigger duration and lobe height cams would also need to be used.;)

4-2 exhaust manifold
2-1 exhaust manifold
4-2-1 exhaust manifold

have you ever seen the cost of the Spoon radiator hoses , let alone the radiator, they are horrendously priced.

The 70mm isn't very good, the 70mm is measured at the leading edge, not the throttle valve, it pretty much uses the stock bore and throttle valve, they just taper it 70mm at the leading edge.

I'm using the Spoon rad fan switch, and the Spoon rad cap. I like both of those parts, reasonably priced too.

i emailed www.inlinefour.com and they said that they didn't have a thermoswitch out for the 02-03 Si. Is there gonna be a diff between the RSX one and the Si one?

the one I am using is the same as the RSX and is the same part number as the one for the 99-00 Civic Si and other b-series engines. It fits and works fine. The rad cap is also the same as the 99-00 Civic Si. hth.

Did you have a noticeable time decrease for the fan to switch on?
:o

it comes on more often, so I guess the answer is yes, it pretty much has to in order to keep the rad fluid at a lower temp. hth.
