Damn! The Focus RS looks sweet

This is my second time seeing a Focus RS in Dearborn. The first time was on the road and I caught a glimpse of it with M plates.

This time I saw one with regular MI plates parked! I was disappointed I didn't have my digital camera with me. I walked around the car, look at the inside and I tell you, it is sweeet. I can't believe I'm saying this coz' there are 2 things I hate in this world. One is Bummer drivers and the other Fomoco.

This one even is right hand drive. Brembo brakes. Sparco seats (IIRC) with racing harness. Nice looking interior. Nice bodykit esp. the front. Overall, it is a great looking car. Next time I'm gonna leave my digital camera in the car rather than at home. I'm gonna snap some pictures.

Damn... it is sweet. The picture doesn't do it justice. It looks much much better than that.

And please no "It is a Focus" joke, ok? When you see a sweet car, at least be smart to recognize it. Don't be a Bummer!

Focus RS? Awww... Trade Up! How 'bout one of these... the '03 WRC. Expect it to influence showroom models in a couple of years, and the body kit to be crudely copied within 6 months for ZX3 owners... :)

Focus RS has a chance making it state side. The WRC will probably not.

Otherwise, make mine an RS6 Avant

Hmm... how many foggies does that thing need??:rolleyes:

What do you guys think of the wing on the WRC? Think someone will make that for EPs? Not my thing- but it's interestingly... different for a hatch.

And how about dual-exhaust on the EPs... just tossing out ideas. :)

wing on the wrc is something a litt. diff. just make the white wrc blue and I'ld be glued... glad there's something other than the zx3' from that comp.

William - interesting declaration, but I respect it! I'd rather have an Infiniti G35 Coupe than the 350Z, though... over the Focus RS for that matter, though I'm almost inclined to agree with you on the RS over the 350Z...

I saw that RS also... a blue one on I-96 near Livonia. Some guy in his upper 20's it looked like.
It didn't have Manufacturer plates either.

Why are people dissing the Foci all over this website? I used to have one and the only reason I don't have it know is b/c it was an auto. The SVT can out corner any EP, the stock ZX3 w/ Springs comes damn close too. Remember for the all the ZX3 owners, putting a WRC or RS kit on is like putting a Type-R kit on ours. I like last years WRC better, that new WRC is trying to be too EVO for me. Please give the ZX3 respect, our cars look just like them but they have the better racing history (RALLY!!!). Just had to vent.

wouldn't dis' a zx3, although I literally hate fords w/a passion, wouldn't dis' them, cause I've seen a street zx3 run a 13.1 1/2, and so far haven't even heard of a street ep doing that, BUT pretty soon :D (member the fastest ep timed on this site so far ran a 14.1 I think...) we'll catch up.
