guys i have stock rims.15x6 with 45mmoffset
and buddy club sf 15x6.5 with 40mm offset...
should i get 205/55/15 or 225/50/15
i noticed that we can't get 205/55/15 slick, but we can get 225/50/15., i really wanna get 225/50/15, but if lower like 2.5 inch would it rub at all?, i don't want to roll my fenders at all, ohh yeah would the tires fit on the rims at all??
thanks in advance

I think you would definitley rub with the 225, try 215 at the most if you want to go bigger than the 205
You might find these two sites helpful...
Tire Size Calculator (http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html)
Wheel Offset Calculator (http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html)
Tirerack.com also has some good info on this page (http://tirerack.com/about/techcenter.html) particularly under The Plus Concept...
Your EP Owners Manual should have stock wheel and tire sizes in case you need them.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

I don't think that's what he was looking for...I think he's more worried about rubbing with those tires and a 2.5" drop and the offset he was going with.....well, I think that's what he was after, but those are helpfull urls.
Oh well, it didn't seem like anyone knew about his exact situation and I believe that each of those links provides fairly precise measurements using different sized items (wheels and tires). That and knowing a 2.5" drop, I thought it might help him make an informed guess ;) . I don't know about spring compression range or wheel arc, though.
My opinion... Kinda crazy to do a 2.5" drop in the Great White North with the snowy winters they get... :D
