Dunno what the gains are but i think its just like any intake available performance wise. But as far as looks, it does look nice.

looks exactly like the factory air box except different filter. Filter style is from the older civic's. A shop in Canada was offering the front scoop for $100(you add to your stock air box). Sorry but this intake is pure name, i'd rather go w/the Comptech cold airbox for sure or the Neuspeed P-flo.

ya $700 is a bit much for the mugen name. i like comptechs box as well. anyone know the gains on it compared to the competition?

I think Mugen, Spoon and all the BIG name brand Japan stuff is really over priced. I mean, I Love them but can't justify spending that kind of money on an intake or other mods. Why not save $500 and get one with almost the same gains? Then put that $500 into something else.
Mugen Intake= $700.00
Aem CAI= $195.00
Difference= $505.00
Then spend that $505.00 on other such as:
full cat-back exhaust
Header
Suspension mods.
For the price of that Mugen intake, you can get an intake, header and suspension stuff or other combos.
Price of one mod = 3 or 4 other mods.

umm? carbon fiber? ;)
Yeah i wouldnt buy intake for $700 no matter WHO made it... i could probably get one CUSTOM made for me for cheaper...
how much gain could u POSSIBLY get for a $700 Intake? (better be a lot) and even if it IS a lot, which i doubt, id rather save up and BOOST...
