A night at the Rices. . . i mean Races. .

Well last night i drove down to Philly, Pa for the local Sat night races

well over 100+ cars
i did spot a Euro Yello sitting on some 17-18" chromes lowered
and on the way home in burlington nj i saw a white si like mine :) with an AEM plate frame

on the way home some dude raced me in a Nissan Murano from
40 -120+

we both had a passenger
i had 17's

and we were EXACTLY even the whole way

is that a good thing or bad thing?


all in all a good night

i think if its nice this sat i am gonna go back down with my digi cam :):cool:

I suppose it's a good thing...although it *is* sort of an SUV...

But it's also based on the Altima...so you can be even with what is basically a heavier bulkier Altima!

That said the FX45 with the larger engine(they actually consider that the base stock one I think...according to some magazine you can downgrade and be ghetto with a V6) would hand all of us our asses =(

It has a 6-6.5sec 0-60 =P

Oh and the downgraded car is apparently called the FX35 so I guess that makes sense =P So all FX45's should be able to hand you your ass =P

On the other hand apparently the FX45 is NOT based on the Murano... oh well

Mike.. next time you come down why don't you give us some advance notice. I just sat around Saturday and would have come out. Will have to let us know next time so we can meet up.

This Sat everyone will be in Carlisle but anytime after just let us know. I bet the Philly gang will all come.

lol yeah I live in the boon dogs, I live in merced, it's like 30-45min drive from fresno and modesto, right inbetween, 5-6hours from la, 2-3 from SF, sucks, hopefully things will get better when they make the 'UC Merced" here, but by then I'lll probably be in soca or the bay area. :D

WTF Merced? dude the runs are right around the corner from u. They start in Molesto @ briggsmore then they go to a spot in tracy.
There used to be legendary runs where i used to live (South Bay) FRemont. But they got ran out and went over to ur area.

hmm... will have to check it out, last time I was on briggsmore I couldn't find crap going on execpt for a a couple of 'rice and beyond' teams hanging out at the local shops...most likely will start heading that way though...maybe things have got better since my last time there...:)

cops are crackin down though... htye already got stockton, and tracy, right now they crackin down sac my friend was tellling me there was a undercover cop in a camaro SS, and the guy in the SS was like "ok guys lets go racE" and he led everyone to a industrial area sort of by my house, and my friend said he saw a car pull in to the street with just hte parking lights on, and he had a gut feeling it was a cop, so he left and as he passed it, IT WAS a cop, so then he turned right and started going home, like a min later he saw a swarm of imports flying by him, and he said there was about 10 cops that pulled into the street from both ways to block everyone in, and there was like 5 cops on the main street, he got pulled over, but he said he was just going home from playing bball cause he actually was playing bball before this,the cop let him go, my friend also said a bunch of the cars got impounded that night, its really starting to crack down over here now in sacramento though... it sucks, and whenever i go to the raceway i cant run cause theres too many cars. =*(
