does anyone know how to turn off a maintance light ??!?

hi guys, earlier this month i've seen a thread saying how to turn off the maintance-light. i have a blk civic 2002 ( ep ) - does anyone know how to turn it off after 10.000 miles. Its really important

if i remember correctly it was

hold the trip button
turn key to access

till it goes out

Yep with key in off position, hold trip meter button in, turn key to on position, hold trip button for 10 seconds and after maintenance light goes out let go of trip meter button thingy.
