I have developed a horrible screech sound from what seems like the front right of the car. Only happens when traveling around 65~70mph. Its not constant. Only happend around 10 times the last month. There is NO change in the way the car handles, engine performance or any other clues as to what the noise is.
It sounds like a mid to high pitch screeching sound ( almost like a car that has locked up its wheels, but not so high pitched).
Some say its the belt tensioner bearing, but no signs of wear anywhere. I would take it in to the dealer, but the chances of them repeating the problem seem slim as its very intermitent, and only last for around 5~10 seconds.
