blinker removal?

u guys know how to remove the side blinkers so i can "Paint it black" ... does ne one have that on their hatch? if so ...post post post pics

I took mine out once only to find out I bought the wrong size (Dohh!!:mad: ). You need to undue the clips and screws holding up the underbody protection piece (black plastic) and jam your arm underneath until you can reach the blinker socket. Otherwise, you have to remove your front wheels which makes access a hell of alot easier but its a pain taking off the wheel and putting it back on again. I was thinking about painting mine white but never got around to it :(
