how many SI did Honda sell?

I did several searches on this forum and couldn't find the answer to my simple questions....the dealer told me they would make 15 SI's.....he also told me that I knew more about the car than he did. Sorry if this has come up in a previous post.....I really did spend time looking.

It would be more like the dealer sells 15 Si's...depending on where you are. The Si (SiR) will be one of the rarest mass production car in North America because people in North America aren't buying a lot of them. This in turn is kind of making the car an enthusiast option...in terms of a Japanese car, (in my opinion) it would be second to the Miata in terms of a following.

Ah damn, I didn't type what I meant to say.....even though I said the dealer told me Honda would make 15 SIs, I meant to say that the dealer told me Honda would make 15k SIs! I feel like an idiot.

At least for 2002 that number is correct - I remember seeing that quite a few times. As far as 2003 though I'm not sure. Honda may have imported a smaller number simply b/c the 2002's did not sell out.

not unless you know an executive in honda, im not sure if u'll get the exact numbers of the production numbers/sales of the civic si's specifically. they usually try to lump it all together with other civics

Well i've been wondering the production numbers for each color. My old car I found the numbers on a site, white=x number. black=x number... but I can't find this info anywhere for this car. I have a 'uapeed' yellow, and I have told myself it's atleast a lower prod number car LOL! nah I like it.

I spoke with a guy at Honda here in Victoria BC, and he told me he's not sure how many are coming in, but they're going to cost the same as the '02s after the HUGE discount.

Uhm, yeah, OK.

To my knowledge 15 thousand were made for 02, but i doubt nearly that many were sold in 02. I still know a dealer that has 02's in stock new. If honda hasn't produced their quota of 15k 03 SI's already, I doubt they will make that many, they're not selling, thats why they have the incentive on em right now.

I got $3500 off before taxes...I just got the salesperson to install the factory alarm and threw in some goodies, that's all.

Yea I did $5000 off mine. They started to say would I take it if they took 3 off then it went to 4 then I got them up to taking 5K off my 02.
