i got a quote from my current insurance company "Prudential"
they said if i switch my insurance to a 2002 si with full coverage my rates will be something like 850-900 dollars every six months
i called another agency but they are going to get back to me tommorow with the 'lowest' rate
i am currently paying 650 for a 93 dodge shadow so it will be about a 200/ 250 dollar increase

when i switched from my 95 civic dx sedan to my 02 si, it went from 800 to 2200 a year. but then we said that my dad was the primary driver so it went down to 1600 a year

one year last for this post, but people should be paying for that much for insurance. AAA is great if you're 25+ or older. Why? Get discounts here and there, esp vacation packages. I had AAA also when I first had my car (transfer policy from previous car) about a year ago. Now I have Progressive, now thinking on getting 21st Century, much better price.
