SRS airbag icon (after headunit/amp installed)

In order to install my head unit and amp, I removed the front driver seat. After completion, the SRS air bag icon appeared and has not disapeared since.

Has anyone encountered this problem and is there any way to turn the icon off?

Gotta take it to the dealer. It came on because the car was turned on with the seat out. There are two plugs under each seat, and if they are unplugged and the car starts (or is switched on) it will light the SRS light.

yeah, i was an idiot..I did that..I forgot to plug the things in before I started the engine...thanks jaydub!

Hey man I had the same problem when I installed my amp...I followed the instructions here to reset the light, worked like a charm, enjoy:D
