Hot Wheels is going to release a small (1/64-ish) EP eventually. It's got a smallish wing & relatively mild kit, but no decals & crazy mods. Here's the link --

Anybody heard if/when this one will show up at our favorite store?

Wow I love the 1.32 ones, I will have to get a few of them when they come to Canada.

Thanks for the post.

Did you pay them via credit card? I was looking into the international money order route, as they don't offer Paypal or anything, and I'm reluctant to give away my CC #, particularly overseas...

I might just wait and let you be the guinea pig... ;)

Nice, I'd still prefer 1:18 without pull-back action though...

1:1 would be nice. :p

Too bad the seats aren't the right color, and yeah, the *Pullback Action!* is a bit of a drag. I'll try to take one apart, paint the seats, and disable the spring motor. Maybe I'll use the motor's space to install some lighting...

Heck, I'm getting a bunch of 'em, why not?

Wow... didn't realize they were pullback action... sucks for me, but better for my 8 year old, so call it a wash. Yes, 1/18th scale static would be nifty...

Do you know if they are gonna make a stock version too?

No words as yet on any in stock form. I'll post something when I do hear something. What some people have been doing is "detuning" these by removing the extra spoilers, decals, ect. to get it back to stock as much as possible. I would suspect that we will get one in 1:24 scale before 1:18. There are many 1:24 scale imports out now, ITR, RSX, WRX, RX-7 so I'm hoping for a stock SI type R sometime in the near future.
