I don't really understand how offset and wheel size control what width rubber I can run...

So basically would:
225/45/16 tires rub on 16x7 wheels with a +40 offset? I'm thinking of getting the 16x7 rota slipstreams and I want to know how much rubber I can run =P

If not, what about 215/50/16?

Also, is there a way to calculate your tire track with the offset? I want it so that my Civic Si has about the same track as an RSX-S...

Also, does messing around with the track affect our turning radius? As it is right now we have a tighter radius than the RSX-S...but if I widen the track doesn't this affect our turning radius too?

Do they not offer a +42 offset?
