Beautiful... nice to have some UK'ers on here... BTW, what is that on your air vents? The thing on the center console looks like a mobile holder, but what is that on the pass. side airvent?

Congrats on the car...

Cheers guys, I think its awesome too!

Owned it from new, amazing car. The engine is one of the cleverest ever I think.

Handling is superb too, but it eats tyres! Done 8000miles and already needs new fronts!

WOW that sucks for the tires part....have you thought of getting better low profile tires?

I heard the same problem was having with the Nissan 350ZX, but the prob with their tires is cause the turbo....

dunno man!

Good luck...Love your car, post more pics pls!

Get that red hunk a junk out of here, everyone knows silver ones go faster due to the alien designed super sleak silver paint :) :p

Steve mate, you know the truth really.

Silver and black CTRs as slower as more paint on them, scratch off paint on either, and red will be underneath!!! :p

The rims as far as I'm aware, are only available from Honda, and I think there about

Type-Robbo,

I'll join the chorus: The CTR is a neat, neat car.

Having said that, it's obvious from your post that your CTR has the dreaded foret-Jackson/Nibbler defect, which causes it to eat front tires at an alarming rate, as you noted. Extraordinarily dangerous. The factory refuses to recognize this potentially life-threating defect, and thus, your only hope is to unload that heap on some unsuspecting Yank who'd be gullible enough to pony up, say, 5000 pounds and drag it out of the country under cover of darkness.

Because I have some mechanical skills and am a risk-taker of sorts, I might be able to salvage enough of your chassis to warrant my taking the car off your hands. Please advise . . . .

I would of course accept your generous offer, but being mechanically minded myself, I have decided to keep the wretched thing and try to find a cure for the ludicrous amounts of power and smiles it brings. How it blows away cars worth double the money, it just isn't right.

I shall keep u posted! ;)

Yea that sucks mate!

my brothers 350Z has this same problem, only he is changing his tires more often than you....about every 4000 miles....its just eating up the tires cause the turbo boost...it sucks for him! :)

I heard the tire problem with the 350Z was a manufacturing flaw or design flaw in the car itself.....

Is this NOT true???
