need help getting a part "cv joint bearings"

i got my car apart and found that i am missing a bearing in my cv joint. from what i have found out, is honda has a patent on them and they arent available anywhere else. and honda doesnt sell them by themselfs. they said my only option is to buy a whole new cv joint at 240 bucks. anyone out there know where to get just the bearing or a cheaper place to get cv joint....

Most local shop around here rebuild them for about 60 bucks.

my question is why do you have you cv joint out in the firts place and what made you think you were missing a bearing

as for a shop rebuilding them the problem again is honda has a patent on the bearings and it seems noone can get them
