Damn, that's sweet. I want one.

This may be a dumb questions, but doesn't the TSX use a "drive-by-wire" implementation on the gas pedal? What do our EPs use? Is it the same and if not, did that cause any problem when you did the swap? Maybe I'm just digging too deep into this.

Anyway, it sounds really nice too. I'm sure you already posted this, but what are you using for I/H/E? Is it all stock stuff or what? Thanks.

Yes, the TSX does use a throttle by wire system where the gas peddle sends a signal to the ECU that then controls the amount of power the engine puts out. This seems to be a major hurdle in the swap (HONDATA PLEASE). Our cars use a normal throttle cable to control the throttle.

This engine that P1 has built is a K24 block with a K20A2 head on it... which should make it roughly equivilent to a K24A2 like the TSX has. (hence the Frankenstein word in the title of the thread)

Edit: moan... can't wait to see a dyno once it's fully tuned. looks and sounds very very promising.

i hate to post another reply but... yeah wow.

Did you use the ep3 tranny or the rsx-s 6 speed?

The engine note gets so smooth at 7k+ simply amazing.

i'm guessing he's got the ep3 tranny in there. 8000rpm with the EP3 gearing in 3rd puts you right at 100mph.
