Wide Ass Tires

any one know what size tire i can put on a 16inch wheel in a that wont rub on the inside... i am looking at a 215/5516 right now.. i think this should be good but i want wider!!! really wide!!! i mean like 225/55 but i dont know who makes a tire like this in a 16 and if it will fit.. and way let me know people this question goes out to every one!!! what do you have what works what doesnt... thanx people and one more thing i am getting set up for auto cross and this will be my 1st event i am setting up for got any tips... i appreciate all the help!!! this will be fun!!!! AUTOX 4 ever!!!

Thats the tire on my wifes 03' CR-V.
No way will that fit a civic.
225/45/16 maybe, i dunno if that tire even exists.

Im running 225/50/16s ... they are Falken ZIEX 512's -- I have a eibach sportline drop.

If you have a low enough positive offset you can fit the 225's no problem.

It will stick out of the fender though and actually your best bet in 16" 225's would be a 45 series (-6.1mm difference from stock) and 50 series (+16.4mm from stock). There are a lot of tires available for 45's and 50's.
