Ok, most of you probably know now that I got Port's motor.:angel: Thanks Port!
Got it today, started to take mine out and stuff. Tomorrow I will transfer any performance parts I can to the A2, then install it.

That's pretty amazing you've got the skills to do that by yourself... looks like you're well on your way to a kick @ss EP... keep us updated, and hats off, man... nice work!

Yeah, you are hard core...doing a motor swap by yourself. I bet it's reallyl gratifying though. Can't wait to see more pics and find out how everything goes.

And, congrats on the engine upgrade!

and does that ECU say K20A-4 meaning its the ITR flash?? i never looked at it, but since it has the ITR cams.. i wonder. the car runs so it just might be.

i wanted the JDM K20A just out of principle. plus the JDM tranny alone is worth the swap to me. Close ratio 6 speed with LSD:eek: i cant wait. i really think that my A2 was putting out more HP then this type R motor will stock.. but just give me a couple weeks.. muhahahah

I think it's rsx flash #4, but just as good.
Axles,bumper,cai, and final touches/double checks tomorrow, then will be done. I didn't have much time today to do much.

That looks pretty sweet. The swap shouldn't be too bad since the engines are in the same family. It isn't quite as bad as an H22 into a civic HB swap.

Some braket additions and removals, a few harness questions lol. but everything is exactly the same. The notching in the shifter assembly was a F**king bitch with removing all the center console paneling (for the 6th gear (reverse that is)). I lost one of the spring clips down in the console hahaha, I'll find it tomorrow.

I found the clip hehehe.
