General swap prices

anyone know what the general price ranges are?

as such for the

k24
k20a2
and the k20a?

for the motor and install

A good price for a K20A2 is around $3000-3500. However, some places sell them for around $4500 or more. If you have some patience, one will usually come up on this board for the first price range.

The K20A cost around $6000 the last that I had heard. Some places are asking as high as $8500 though.

I have no idea on the K24, but the short block is around $1000 I believe.

All prices I've told you are usually used and that doesn't include the labor to install them.

I got my A2 right here on ephatch.com for $2800. PoRT got his from the same guy for $3000 with Hondata/ITR cams/other extras.

K20A swaps are from $5000-$8500

K24s are overgrown A3 engines...don't bother. Crappy VTEC and 12 valves up to 2200 RPM.
