Hello,

Check out our order online link to obtain pricing:

Order Online Page (http://www.xenondepot.com/orderonline.html)

We have decided not to carry our single beam H4 (low beam only) kit any longer. As a result, we are really pushing our high/low beam kit so we have really priced it aggressively!

Regards,

Steve

How do the high beams work exactly?

Smart move. How many H4 cars don't require high beams anyway?

A Honda engineer once said, "It's amazing how inexpensive those things are when you put them on all the cars." He was talking about the radio, coin tray, rear defroster, and rear wiper (among other things) in road test in Road & Track of the then-brand-new 1980 (I think) Accord.

Hello,

The high beam works with the bulb gettin pushed back and forth. When that happens, the light reflects differently. The bulb does not shut on/off when this happens so that there is no extra stress on the ballasts to reignite the bulbs.

Most cars these days use two differnt bulbs for high/low beam. However, we also get a lot of customers that perform sealed beam to H4 conversions. Once they do so, they are a perfect candidate for our High/low conversion kit.

Steve

My impressions of XenonDepot Hid kit

$599 U.S. (or whatever you can get them for) = okay (for you americans)

$599 U.S. (for us Canadians = $900 can, plus tax / shipping = over $1000 Canadian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

And wtf is with Quoting American Prices to someone in your home province

Sell me this kit for $600ish Canadian and I'm all over that, but for over $1000 Canadian I can have alot of shit! (actual perf mods)

Will2K2,

As per your post:

1) Yup that would be the correct exchange rate - Have you looked into other proper Philips High/Low conversion kits? What are they going for?

2) You obviously didnt notice but our Canadian order form is in Canadian funds so not quite sure what your're talking about that in regards to that....

3) $600 Can - if that is what you are looking to spend unfortunatley our kit is not the kit for you. I'm not saying that in a bad way, I'm simply saying you get what you pay for. Take a look at what other quality H4 High/LOw kits are being sold for in todays market.

Steve

You took this out of context, I'd love to have HID's and I'm sure your kit is good

But fact is fact.

Canadians pay more for mods than Yanks;

and I would have a hard time justifying HID's instead of:

Borla Header, Hondata Gasket, Custom 2.25 midpipe, and Neuspeed Race Springs!

Not everyones opinion or everyones situation, just mine!

By the way, I was the first person to respond to your banner AD here and when I got my response (after stating I was in Ottawa) I was quoted in U.S. dollars!!!!! (still got the mail if you want it)

Hello,

I apologize for the confusion however we do have Canadian pricing set up for our Canadian customers. In regards to Can vs US pricing, the pricing is approx the same however we have to charge our Canadian customers the applicable taxes - unfortunately there is nothing we can do that. We are a legitimate business....

Steve

what is the life span of these bulbs, and how much do they cost to replace...

XenonDepot
04-30-2003, 07:09 PM
The life span of an HID bulb varies depending on the quality of the bulb. XenonDepot uses Philips bulbs as these bulbs meet up to OE standards. Philips bulbs are rated at approx 2500 hours.

The bulbs are the most expensive part of the kit. This is why its not worth your while spending less money initially on a kit that uses cheaper bulbs as if they burn out replacement costs arent that cheap.

XenonDepot offers a legitimate one year warranty with their kits!

Steve

Thats for the 6000k Philips Ultinon HID kit. I will do my best to do whatever possible if there are sufficient people involved. Keep in mind however, that these prices are low to begin with (feel free to perform a search to see what other Philips High/low kits are selling for.

Hello,

XenonDepot is an online retailer. We do not have a storefront for customers to visit. If you would like to payp via credit card you will need to go through paypal. We hav chosen paypal because they really cut down the risk of fradulent transactions over the internet (for both buyers and sellers).
