everytime i get on the gas even remotely hard the car smells like sulfur when i stop.
has anyone else experienced this problem?

Yep.

I guess it's from the CAT getting hot when you floor it and then not cooling quick enough when you let off the gas so the exhaust is burning.

Some people (my self included) think that you can minimize the stink by buying better gas. I don't know if there is anything else you can do except not floor it, which honestly, isn't going to happen :D

Thats the reason I buy 92 Octane now...

when I would buy 87 I would get that same sulpher shit...

Sulfur smell eh? Is that like the farts you get after eating 4 or so hard boiled eggs?

I have never smelt that odor comming from my car.......I have always fed my car 93 octane.....except when I drove through NJ.....then eggy got to sip on some 94 octane.

well jaydub, im glad I could make you laugh. Anyways, you are intoo stereos, right? I just got a new 15 in sub to go along with my 2 12's I have. All I can say is that it sounds INCREDIBLE! now for a good component system.

There's been some good tips for components in the electronics forum lately, good info. Take a look! My sub should be here any day, it's only an 8", but it weighs 18lb. haha

AHHH! i see...cuz yea, mine does too....so we either drive more slowly or buy better gas?
