Looks to be about an inch to 1.2"...do you not know what kind of springs you have or are these coilovers?

I believe he has coilovers (ground control) and I agree with you on that it looks like a 1.2" drop

i'd say about 1.5 or so

Ok so the consensus is 1.25" - 1.5" ?

Less of a drop than Sportlines or a Tein drop?

I wanted to go with a ProKit drop but this is the highest the Ground Controls will go :( :(

I have prokits and it looks pretty close to mine... (before my 17's)

If anything go lower. Slips look like crap with that much wheel gap.

I think it looks good personally. You can definatly tell its lowered! You dont need your wheel inside your fender completely! haha It is in fact a street car and you have to be realistic alot of roads suck ass wherever you are in the US. Goodjob I have GCs on my car right now but im taking them out and putting in Tein S. Tech springs and I am hoping they are right around that hieght! later:D

Its definately not 1.5 inches, id say closer to 1.2.

go lower. imo if your going to drop your car, atleast drop it to the edge of the tire or where u can put 1-2 fingers between wheel and fender.

I'd say keep the back where it is, but lower the front a tad more.

the reason why i say it is 1.5 inches is because he has a shorter wheel/tire combo which would create a lil extra gap:) kinda like having 195 55 15s on our car-makes for more gap;)

it looks low enough imo...not for me personally, but it's still good. I assume you either did that because you don't have aftermarket shocks, or that's just what your going for, if so, why not just buy prokit?

i would lower it some more, looks better that way imo:)

I was planning on getting springs but I was worried about the rear being lower than the front. I hate that look of the car squatting. This way I can tweak the drop how ever I want.

ah, yeah, you are right about that. It seems like every spring for our car does that. My springs are a tad lower in the rear...I hate that too. That's why I'll probably go with skunk2

they make a spring rate just for the si, where as GC makes it for any 01+ civic. Skunk2 is cheaper...289 shipped...I may get it cheaper possibly for serving the military during OIF, and I hear less complaints on the skunk2 versus the GC

I've heard and have seen that the Skunk2 is bouncy. I think the GC spring rate is the same with the 02 civic because the weight differences between the 2dr and 3dr is very close. I'm guessing people have complained about the ground controls before because they tried using the regular 02 civic kit on their Si. The upper spring pearch is totally different between the regular and Si kits.

did you have to cut the perch on your si kit for the GC's to fit?

I like it when the car seems lower in the back. The car has a mean look. What springs do you have? With them, my car won't look like a Neon.;)

yeah, I know, I hate that about the springs on our cars...it seems like every brand does that from what I've seen.

It's like the BMW, the quarter in the back is lower than the fender in the front. Actually, the car is even from back to front. That's what I like. ;)
(I hope you'll understand my English...)

No just make sure you get the Si specific kit. The upper spring pearch usually is anodized gold but mine aren't anodized at all.

Yep stock shocks. I'm sure that the boucing would be improved with stiffer aftermarket shocks.
