How much of boost our stock engine can handle. Can we boost more than 7psi with stock internal or not.

Thanks

yeah - just wont last as long - 7psi is a good starting point before you start to rebuild the engine.

With proper tune you can do 10-12psi before you need to build..

But since theres no good STAND alone EMS out at this time and only ecu flashes it doesnt help you get the precise tune for the amount of boost.

You would need an upgraded injectors and fuel pump.. 2 step colder plugs..

No one has done much boost on our engines.. I know that people on clubrsx.com are running 100 shots on the TYPE S..
a few running 125 shots. The k20 can take boost but it has limits.

I'd like to know this too. I'm sure it can handle at least 10psi. I don't know though.

maybe, maybe with a turbo on a stock si, with a lot of tuning and fuel management...but with a supercharger...forget...anything after 8lbs and it's a waste due to heat (no Intercooler). imo

lol forget it man...look at the built up K20A2 Cybernation is running...

Friggin 426whp! 426!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!426!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok that just blew my mind =P

426 plus the LSD tranny from the Type-R and I'll be in heaven. Possibly because I'd go careening into a brick wall from the torque steer hahaha
