Sub Woofer Dillema

I won an auction 3 weeks ago for a 10W3v2 sub, which is 300 Watt RMS for JL 300/2 amp. But somehow the guy is a "D$$$" so until now I have not received it. He said that it was lost in mail.

any way, I saw on Ebay also about some alternatives.

1. 10w6 which is 300 Watt, exactly what I need. it goes about $100 ++
2. 10w3v2 300 Watt also, new ones goes for $150++
3. This is what I want, 10W6V2 which 400 Watt and awesome new design, not old dull looking JL. but I only have 300 watt amp, I don't think it will give out its best performance. by the way, someone is selling it for $245 shipped.

So Which one should I get ? help out please.....

I have a 10W3 in my car in a ported box, and I have had several people ask me if I had 2 12's in my car after hearing it. I am using the JL 500/5 channel amp, and am getting 250 to the sub, so 300 should be beautiful for it.... just my two cents...:)

From who did you buy it from. I'm worried cuz I won and paid a Fosgate 301s (300RMS) And I haven't got a single e-mail replied for almost a week.

go with teh JL 10W6V2....im serious you will be proud you bought that one over the the older JLs....you know i have the JL12W6V2, and it thumps louder than any1 sub i heard in its class....

we were @ the carlisle show this weekend saw this one dude with a whicked setup he had 3 JLs 10W6 older ones...with all these JL amps hooked up to it in this crazy awesome looking fiberglass enclosure....his highes were nice, but his thump didnt even come close to my 1 JLw6v2....if u get it and you dont like it...(i know you will) hit me up, ill buy it off you and put it into my car and buy another 10 incher and have 3 JLs... :)

I really want to have a 10w6v2, but it is twice as much as I planned before. Yesterday, suddenly a guy came up with a new 10 w3v2 for 125 shipped, so I bought it right away. I am expecting the package next week.

quality will be totally different, from the frame and the magnet size, you can tell it is a two diff thing. well anyway it is hard living with no money, too much ambition. :( good thing is I can control it a little bit. ;)

HAHA yeah i know what you mean! I just bought a set of 17inch 5Zigen MK5s on yokohomas this past weekend @ carlisle show...spent 1 grand...i am done with mods for a while!

yeah, nice choice you got there. I almost got that rim also, then I decided to add more for this OZ superleggera. You won't regret with that rims, good ones.
