Type R emblems on a Red SI

What do you think??? I would like to get them but I am not sure if the Red in the type R emblem is the same as my car. If its not then I think it would look stupid.

it will look stupid unless you have:


type R body kit
Red Eblems
British flag (or not optional)
5 lug conversion on the wheels
tinted and painted head lights
upgrade typeR tail lights for the blinker effect.



Then no one could tell it's not a type R

you don't have a type R, you don't get type R decals
might as well put an s2000 badge on it, you'll get the same effect, actually it might add HP and give you rear wheel drive

I guess I should have said anything about the Type R. I just mean the Red Emblem.... I have a Red EP and was considering getting the Red H symbol for my car. I dont want the Type R because I dont have a type R come on guys what do you think I am hahaha

As soon as im done with my CAI, Headers, and Springs, WHICH, by the way, didi not get here on time and left me waiting at my house all day:mad: but good things come to those who wait ( i did get an EP as opposed to an old car afterall)

It will probably be close, I know my red H's match the red in my SI badges exactly, so it shouldn't look to out of place.

Go for it and do the install it is easy and it takes less then a half an hour for the upgrade. I did the upgrade last week and I took some shots of my car today with them on and I hope to post them tomarrow. I have a Silver SI so all you can see is how they look with the SI on the front and rear. I did both of the H's and added the flag and I love the look. They must match the SI's that are on the car very nicely. I got all 3 for $69 shipped so I did not think tha was bad. If you want to check out the install this is the link to it.

they make red sir' in canada, there are a few in the mem' rides area.

Ya they make Red Si's in Canada. We do not get the blue though. I dont know if thats good or bad. I got red because I new it would be rare. I like red especially on the SI.

What are you talking about? We DO get the blue SiR's here too.
White, is the rare colour in Canada.
Also if you're worried about the JDM "H" emblems matching your car... They are the EXACT same shade of red that's in the "SiR" emblem. So you can compare it with that to your paint.

We just got the blue for 03, 02 we didn't have it. Hey SIRRider if you do go with the Red emblems let me know how they look, I've been thinking about getting them for mine.

type r's dont have the k20a2, thats the rsx-s engine

they have the k20a

no I do not like the type r rims I am going to upgrade to 17" rims though still driving one the OEM ones.
