Got this last week and put it on. Finally got time to get pics of it.
It's the Mr. Alex engine torque damper. I am a dealer for A&J Racing. They offer this one and the J's Racing version which is basically the same.

The instructions show a strut tower bar on the CTR where this thing bolts to it. But apparently our cars dont have these bolt holes so I had to use the strut bolt. I will drill the second bolt hole later.
Took me about fifteen minutes to find the right size sockets and extensions and all of 3 minutes to bolt it down.

Drove the car and it defintely feels like it launches harder. My AEM CAI sounds louder now for some reason. Maybe transfering the sound to the firewall more now. Dunno, coul djust be my imagination.

Nice picture, this is tempting me more now.
Doesn't help that AJ Racing is local either.
(small voice in my head saying " buy buy buy buy!")

[south honda] you had to use the side of the right upper front strut bar can be installed there are holes on the sides. thats a wrong installation. but if it works for you. thats koo. ill post my pic soon if i get a hold of a digi cam. Amer

I went by what the instructions showed in their diagrams. I will try to scan them tonight when I get home. I tried a couple different possibilities with the mounting and this was what worked the best. I didnt see any other way to mount it without modifying the bracket.

I have seen the pics of the dc2r engine damper mounted on the drivers side shock tower but the EP's and the RSX's ore on the passenger side.

That is like the picture I have in the instructions. My shock tower doesnt have the bolt holes for the strut tower bar like the picture does. Plus the damper itself is mounted reverse. The instructions I have show an arrow pinting to make sure you put it the other way.

Dunno Mine is working fine even if I have it wrong.

from my opinion it keeps the motor in place and makes shifting more precise:)

dumb question, but does it vibrate more in the cabin of the car?

I have to say good question not dumb. I do not see anything to dampen the vibration from the engine.

It's like a damper - like the shocks on your car which prevents the engine moving so much in its mounts so you put the power to the ground

the real question is, does it reduce/eliminate wheel hop? that is the only reason I'd consider it.
