anyone take off there outside passenger door handle ? need to get it off A.S.A.P

ok i have my car at the body shop and i am ready to paint tomarrow but we are having one problem, we cant get the outer door handle off the passenger side. i took out the 2 bolt but it seems is still stuck to the metal bracket by the door lock. how do i get that off so i can take off the handle?? please any help i can get is much appreciated and tonight would be o so great.

why WOULD anyone have taken them off??
if your autobody shop can't figure it out, do you really trust them painting your car?

i ran the body shop for a year. and do most the work myself. the body guy was on vacation this week he knows how to take it off. i was hoping not to have to wait for him to come back so i was doing most the dissasembly by myself. he is going to be there tomarrow so all is good now.,..
