Well i just recently hit 8500 miles, I changed my oil at 8k with 5w30 synthetic, i just noticed my ment required light blinks when i turn my key to the on position, it blinks like 4-5 times when all the other lights are off, my oil level is good and so is my coolant, has this always been doing that and i just havent noticed till now? or is something wrong, i havent rotated my tires yet... iam planning on doing it today. What other problems should i be looking for right now?

I believe this is normal. I am at 8900 miles and mine started doing the samething at around 8500 miles. I think it is just warning you that you are coming up on 10k. We have to reset that light at 10k miles.

31102si ... u r totally right. i hvae 13000 miles and at 10000 the light will be on so u need to reset it yourself or at the dealer...totally normal

yep yep, that's all in the manual and is broht up weekly hehe :D by ppl that don't bother to read it. :p

When you have a car like this why in the hell would you wanna be sittin at home readin a stupid ass manual when you can be out cruisin the highway??

hehe know what you mean, just helps a little sometimes so the same thread doesn't appear every other day making the site boring, or try a search like everyone else.

it is normal no worries. if you were to ignore it, when it hits 10k it would just stay on the whole time:) so just reset it, quick and easy to do:)

hold in the button and start car while holding it in, keep it in a while till it stops blinking.
