help with getting tape residue off windows

I'm kind of a dumbass. I had put some masking tape on my windows and now it won't come off. I mean, I got most of it off but there are some pieces that are so stuck on that even when they're wet they don't come off! I don't want to use any solvent cuz I'm afraid of them running down onto the paint and ruining it. Anyone got any suggestions?

If goo gone doesn't work(which it should just be sure and wipe it off your paint completely), get some 3M tar and adhesive/wax remover. You can get at wal-mart in the aisle witht the touch-up paint.

Goo gone worked pretty well. Just have to let it soak in for a little bit and then scrub away with paper towels or some other mildly abrasive cloth.

if it's only on the windows, some goo gone and a razor blade takes adhesive off like butter. (okay, bad analogy)
