Hondata says redline is raised to 7700 rpms. So why does their dyno not reflect that? They stop reporting tq #'s at 6800 and HP #s at 7400, why?

Do they just not want to show it falling off?

The blue line on the dynos are the stock 6800 rpm redline. The red line is the Hondata modified dyno run (with 7700rpm redline).

That is something I noticed as well. I have been considering getting the flash but I just don't know if it is worth the money. There seems to be some people who really like it and others who claim they don't notice that much of a difference. I'm not convinced yet but I would like to drive an ep with the flash. The higher red line sounds good but whats the use if your power is dropping like a rock at those higer RPM's?

Dur! on me!

But still does the power drop off so fast after 7400 they just don't print it?

I don't know man it's like 600 bucks for a higher redline and 10 more hp, it's iffy.

It sure looks like at 7400rpm the torque is dropping dramatically and the hp is just starting to dive. I can only assume that the reason they didn't print the numbers at 7700 or all the way up to the fuel cut off is that the numbers aren't that good. I don't know why their information on the website is old either. I have been waiting for months for an upate as to why the i/h/e numbers weren't that much different with the flash. There seems to be some confusion as to the number of different flashes out there as well. Hondata hasn't done much to clarify a lot of our questions IMO.

It's not 7700 anymore, it's 7500.
