Breaking into the 14's would make so many of us happy with the speed of our cars. I'm happy as well, but I don't know, the title "15 (or even 16) second car" doesnt settle well with me. I saw the controversy when someone said they broke into the 14's... and well, I want to know what feasible modifications would be required for the Si to hit 14's on a regular basis (not just getting lucky once or twice)

I know there are a couple base RSX guys running 14.6 -14.7 consistently on clubrsx right now with basic bolt-ons, and Hondata. The Si should have even more potential with top end power if anything IMO. Thus 14's have to be possible with the Si. Good bolt-ons, strong running engine with grippy tires and suspension upgrades you should hit 14's. The guys on clubrsx are legit too, the one guy I know of klutchrsx has been bolting on mods for a while now and we've been able to follow his progression, his best is 14.6 .

I personally believe the guys that have run 14's with their ephatch cause it was in very cold weather which helps a lot in the power department. I seen myeverlovinsir's time slips a few weeks ago he was running 15.2 consistently at 90 mph, and that was with the crappy stock tires and no suspension - stock springs. He reported very poor traction conditions that day as well. He should be able to kiss high 14's with some good traction IMO, of course practice sure helps as well.

if hondata would get their act togethar and make a nitrous able chip, with bolt ons you could see an extremely low 14 and maybe high 13s all day long

a good driver w/ the right suspension should be able to get into the 14's w/o the DR's.
