The seats were done by Classic Soft Trim. The dealer had the add-on sticker marked at $1,200.00. I ended up getting them for $1,100.00, which wasn't bad considering I got the car with the seats for about $18,700.00 out the door.

me too, love my stockies. however......i dont see this material lasting a super long time......so whenever they start showing signs of wear.....i am seriously considering either custom suede or maybe leather.....depends on the price between the two.

The ctr recaro are just a little too much red for me. I like the leather with the red in the center though.

I love my stock seats, but...the red jdm recaros just have something about them that make my eyes water :'( and go :eek: WOW...someday;)

Leather is bad for you.
1. In the summer, they're hot as a mofo.
2. In the winter, they're cold as mofo's. And if you sit on cold things, you could get prostate problems or freeze off your gonads. That's why your mom told you to stand up off the concrete.
3. They're slippery. I've got a friend with an RSX with the leather seats, and I've driven it fast around corners. I've slipped off his seat more times than the number of turns I took.
4. You have to maintain them. You have to keep them slightly greasy always, if you want them to be nice and smooth. Otherwise, they first become coarse and lose the feel and smell that leather is loved for, after which they completely dry out, and all of their wrinkles turn into cracks.

The only positive side of leather is the fact that it makes a car look custom and prestigeous. Like gold badging (which is better for your gonads than leather), leather interiors are for pure showoff, and if your mantra is function > form, then you should not be coming anywhere near them.

Those seats look alright on my computer monitor, but I'd really like ot see them upclose for a white glove inspection. That seller is just way too shady.......he described the car like it was made of solid gold. "state of the art stereo".......? What? That's the stock stereo. The stock head unit is okay (for a factory stereo I suppose) but the stock speakers SUCK.
