OK...so I've had this dilema for the past coouple of days..I don't like how 215/45's look, 215/40's look real good, but the only tire with enough load rating is the Avid H4 215/40/17 87W load rating of 1201 lbs. @ 44psi.
205/45's are a good compromise to get a nicer better performing tire with the same load rating as the stock michelins.
my rims are 17x7.5 5Zigen 5ZR (hyperblack with polished ip) and I have sportlines and SPC kits already done.
The big question is will a 205/45 fit or should I go with the Yok Avids(215/40)? Looking at either Yokohama AVS ES 100's or Dunlop SP 9000's
or...should I ignore the load rating factoring in that the max weight in the car is around 320lbs. 99% of the time (wife,2year old, and myself)
please help!
