what's everyone hitting db?

I'm curious as to what everyone has hit in the ep?

I've hit 150.7

where do you get it tested and about how much does it cost? I've always wanted to see mine, but never done it. Also, does the db highly go by how loud your subs are or how loud your speakers are?

with my old setup, i hit 147.6 DB on DB Drag. I was in the Street 1-2 class.

2 Alpine Type R 12"
1 Fosgate Cap
1 Alpine 1507 amp.

The rest is history. I dominated my class, and only lost my first contest. I hit 145.0 and got second place. After a few tweaks and a different CD, I hit alot harder.

FYI a jet airplane hits around 140db.

I miss my subs sometimes. :( I am now into racing. So no more boom.

any audio shop should have a db meter to see how loud they're hitting. And also a little hint to make yours louder is to give ur car gas when its getting ready to hit and to fan your doors. Which someone just opens and closes your door fast.

There is a SPL war in Johnson City, TN if anyone is interested. They always have a lot of people that show and attend.

I have two 12" Rockford Fosgate HX2's running off a 1000bd amp. I had a Virtual Technology box built for my subs. I have a yellow Optima battery in my trunk. It pounds pretty hard. I have the DEH-P6400 Pioneer cd player. I'm going back to Alpine soon because they sound so much better. I'm a daily driver so I need it to sound good and not just boom.
