Yeah, I was interested in the same thing, only I have a question.... Wouldn't CF be even more brittle than fiberglass, I mean, wouldn't it crack very easily? Any ideas?

I think Seibon (SP?) sells JDM, Mugen and maybe Buddy club replicas in carbon fiber. I'm thinking about getting their Type-R wing.

Oh yeah, I'd hope that carbon fiber is stronger than fiberglass considering they use it to make chassis and components for F1, CART and other racing series.
Carbon fiber is much stronger, but very hard to repair if needed.

usdm bumper = longer
so a jdm lip kit would look out of whack
jdm bumpers are SUPER shorter compared to JDM ones

hey x, how about a side shot of your car against a regular si. If you'd be so kind. I wanna see just how much of a difference the jdm bumpers make.

hey x, were you able to keep bumper supports?

bumper supports stick out too far for the jdm bumpers. You have to ditch the stock ones and get the jdm ones (about $150)

...just wondering, will switching these have any affect on the airbag working correctly?(safety important)

I am so confused as to why someone can't just make a nice JDM-looking lipkit that fits well.......it WILL sell!!!
Fiberglass is fine, but ABS plastic would be much better. Price it at around $600 and I think that there would be a TON of customers.

I can second this, after hanging out on the UK forum for a while and seeing the type-r's, not si' for a while you can see a major difference in bumper length.
Type-r looks like the kid that was dropped on their face as a baby, sept it caused a concusion that added 40hp one more gear and a performance oriented engine, a lot like those hot girls in high school that we always let copy our hmwrk but never got their #'s :p j/k
