the color scheme is OK. while i personally like leather seats, i really dig the feux-suede material the EP seats are done in.

I don't like leather too much on a car seat, in Florida is hot as hell and you are either burning your ass on the leather or freezing your ass when cold but it looks good.

Maybe it's just me, but the acuras turn me off, because they try to be performance oriented and a little luxary at the same time. I personally prefer the minimalistic concept for interior design. Our stock seats are bangin'!! I would only change them for other racing seats for the sole purpose of putting in a harness. And since I have to wait for a proper support for a harness to come out... Seats are not an issue...

Just my take on it...

I don't like it too much. Like others have said, it just doesn't seem to fit our cars. I would say that IF you want to put in new seats, put in some black Recaros or Sparcos. Just my opinion though.

Not bad but I would just have them take your seat covers off and put that Si on them and then put yours back on. We are VERY lucky to have the seats we have. They are damn nice IMHO..

Our seats are pretty sporty, i dont think the leather will do as good of a job as the suede (sp?) in gripping you in place in the twistys.

color looks great IMO probably cause it remids me of the JDM recaros, don't think leather looks to great in our cars w/those colors, however, I've seen an ep w/white leather interrior that looked pretty good.

I am so not a fan of leather seats.

They are too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, and they are a pain in the ass to maintain.

Sooner or later, depending on how well you take care of 'em, they will probably crack.:(

I think that our seats, AS IS, are the shiznet! That fake suede looks classy, but is still plenty grippy when you rip into a corner.

I guess I'll go against the crowd this time. I love my seats to death, don't get me wrong.....but after always driving/sitting in my friend's type S....I love leather. Those seats are really nice, and comfortable IMO. I have sat in a used type S at the dealership w/ 25k on the clock w/ leather that was sorta smellin' odd and kinda cracked, but for just driving around town I would not mind having type S seats in my car.

I have yet to get too wicked in the turns in his car, but just by sitting in the seats I can tell that it would not be as supportive as our seats. I think for daily driving I would use those seats...take em all out but one for the 1/4 track....and just get and use one sexy red type R recaro w/ a harness for autox'ing or going around a road track.

Oh yea. The backseats on the original pics looks kinda....bleh, but the front two are so so. Hmm, actually before my friend totaled his base rsx and got a type S I remember he could have gotten a deal on all 3 leather seats from a type S for 600 bux....if you really want leather I would do that instead and sell the stock seats. Of course I would only do that if I had that JDM recaro, but still, something to think about.

The leather conversion w/the red inserts looks great.

However...

(1)It looks expensive,

(2)There's a reason cars like the CTR and ITR do not come with leader. You will slide all over the place in corners.

God what a waste of money. Interior is one of the sweetest parts of out cars. That is just wrong.
