I know there are a couple of us who have the Mugen pedals and LOVE them. The clutch and brake pedal have mesh grip on them and the gas pedal is silky smooth. This is a bad pic but the only one I have.

DON'T GO NEAR RACTIVE!

I bought a set of ractive pedals. Not only did they not come with instructions, but they were a pain to put on, never really fit that tight, and they were kinda' slippery when wet.

To add insult, after about 3 months, the chrome plating was half rubbed off!

Ractive sux.

I installed a set of MUGEN pedals on my ep today.
Note to self!! don't try to remove the gas pedal thinking it's like the old type of pedals with a plate behind it. IT"S NOT!! look carefully it has a push pin... the old pedals is one solid piece, connected by the pin. Make it easier on your self just srew the new one on top of the original.....

How did you mount the clutch? I'm having some issues with the arm behind the pedal.

Anyone have a DIY on installing Sparco's or Mugens. I have 5Zigen universal pedals right now. Hate'em!!!

Always a little freaked out about the Sparco's and Mugens. How the hell do you put them on?

I had hondasport pedals on my last car, they go on the same way. I just took the rubber covers off the stock pedals and then put the hondasport pedal over the stock pedal so I could see where I needed to dril. I make an indention and then used my drill to make the holes...then put the pedals on and screwed them in.

Read the Instructions sheet that comes with your Mugen pedals... You can read JAPANESE RIGHT???:D :D j/k

1. remove stock rubber pads from orginal ped... Clutch and brake.

2. remove the protection film from back of Mugen ped. Slip the Mugen on ..starting at the bottom lip. make sure its straight.

3. insert hex screws and slowly try to catch the rear holding plates..its a bitch!! but it will go in. NOTE: the small holding plates has a uneven look...put the bigger end down and also the plate has a pointed and smooth side ...put the dimple side down. Test by screwing it with the screw... I hope u understand...

4. Gas pedal ..dont try to remove it. read my past posting on that. just use the other screws and dill it in. go slow maybe even pre-drill.

;) ;)
