Engine Cover??

I was just curious if it is ok to take the cover off, the one that says 2.0 DOHC ivtec on it?? it doesn't seem to be doing anything important??

It pretty much just covers up the fuel rail, makes everything look neater. I prefer having it on because of this, only take it off when I am working on something. I'm sure you could take it off no problem, I just don't see any reason why unless you mess with the fuel and intake system a lot.

It might keep some dirt or car wash water out of that area, but its probably just decoration. I've been thinking about taking mine off too.

Mine came off cause i was hearing a rattle from it?? don't know why so i took it off, i looked like decoration, and it seems to be ok?? I was just making sure nothing electrical was being exposed!!

i also got the AEM Fuel Rail on so why would i wana cover up that lil red rail of niceness :D hehehe
